2017 National Forum on Criminal Justice

The National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA), the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) and the IJIS Institute (IJIS) will host the National Forum on Criminal Justice to be held July 30 – August 2 at the Hilton in Long Beach California. The Forum will showcase programs, research and technologies that assist criminal justice practitioners and decision makers in states, local communities and tribal nations address pressing public safety issues.

Conference Topics include: reducing opioid addiction; statewide approaches in mental health; assessing data needs; Byrne JAG emergency funding; partnerships to improve pretrial justice; research-informed policing; crisis intervention training for law enforcement; and new approaches in human trafficking.
