The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) will meet on

hosting their September Workshop, “Co-occurring Substance Use and
Mental Health Services For the Justice-Involved Population”,

Cal OES Grant Opportunity
The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES),
Victim Services and Public Safety Branch, Domestic Violence Unit
is soliciting proposals for the Domestic Violence Assistance (DH)
Program for 2018-19. The DH Program expands comprehensive support
services to domestic violence survivors and their children,
including emergency shelter, counseling, court accompaniment, and
advocacy. Approximately $2,000,000 is available for the DH
Program through he State General Fund. Applicants may apply for
up to $500,000 for a 24 month Grant Sub award performance period
beginning Jan. 1, 2019 and ending Dec. 31, 2020. This is one time
funding. To be considered for funding, the proposal package must
be received or postmarked by Tuesday, October 9, 2018. For
