BSCC Holds Juvenile Justice Standing Committee Meeting – June 23

The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) will hold its Juvenile Justice Standing Committee meeting on Thursday, June 23 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the BSCC office at 2590 Venture Oaks Way in Sacramento. BSCC Proposition 47 Executive Steering Committee (ESC) Meetings — June 23 & 24

The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) will hold its first Proposition 47 Executive Steering Committee meetings on June 23^rd and 24^th. All meetings are open to the public and will take place at the BSCC office at 2590 Venture Oaks Way in Sacramento. The meetings will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 23 and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 24.

Governor Brown Appoints State Public Defender

Governor Brown has appointed Mary McComb as the State Public Defender in the Office of the State Public Defender. Ms McComb has served as Supervising Deputy State Public Defender since 2010 and was Deputy State Public Defender from 1992 to 2010. Ms. McComb’s previous positions include an associate at Kelman Loria, an attorney at the Community Law Center and a teacher at Commonwealth High School.
