Cal OES Issues RFP for Child/Youth Advocacy Programs

The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services has $5.5 million in grant money available for programs dealing with youth and child victims of crime. The Unserved/Underserved Child & Youth Advocacy Program provides one-time funding for advocacy and support services. Approximately 15 projects will be selected to receive an allocation of up to approximately $371,000 for a one-time, 23-month grant period. The program is supported with Victims of Crime Act funds.

To receive funding through the XY Program, the application package must be received or postmarked by Thursday, August 25, 2016. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to Claire Wimbley-Brown, atclaire.wimbley-brown@caloes.ca.gov.
