CDCR Update to the Three-Judge Court Panel

This week the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) reported on the status of measures being taken to reduce the California’s adult inmate population. This report is in response the to the Three-Judge Court order to reduce the prison population in California by February 28, 2016. The State’s status report and benchmark report on the current in-state and out-of-state adult prison populations reflects CDCR’s efforts to develop and implement measures to comply with the population reduction order of 137.5% of design bed capacity.
