The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center with
funding support from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of
Justice Assistance is hosting a webinar,
Addressing the Needs of Veterans in the Criminal Justice
System, on Thursday, April 26 from 11:00 am – 12:30
pm.
The webinar will provide an overview of national estimates of
incarcerated veterans; explain components of the Veterans Health
Administration’s veterans justice programs; expand awareness of
the needs of veterans in the justice system; and discuss new
developments in the Veterans Administration and community
interventions to provide services to veterans in the criminal
justice system.
