They are seeking applications to provide training and technical assistance to state and local governments through a National Training and Technical Assistance Initiative.

This program furthers the mission to increase officer and public safety through support to state, local, and tribal police and law enforcement as first responders to calls for service and incidents involving people with mental health disorders as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities.
