Human Trafficking Victim Assistance Program – Requests for Proposals

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Criminal Justice/Emergency Management & Victim Services Branch, is soliciting proposals for the Human Trafficking Victim Assistance (HV) Program for fiscal year 2015-2016. The purpose of the HV Program is to help human trafficking victims recover from the trauma they experienced and assist with reintegration into society by providing safety and supportive services.

Approximately $10 million is available for 2015-2016. It is anticipated that ten proposals will be selected for funding and receive an allocation of up to $1 million for a 24-month grant period, beginning January 1, 2016 and ending December 31, 2017.

Proposals will be rated and ranked competitively. Applicants should read the Request for Proposal (RFP) carefully to ensure proposals contain required elements and refer to the RFP for the proposal due date and submission options. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to Diana Mazuka, Program Specialist, via email at diana.mazuka@caloes.ca.gov.
