Juvenile Justice Committee to Meet

The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) Juvenile Justice Standing Committee (JJSC) will meet on Thursday, December 14. Agenda topics include a review and approval of the AB 1998 Juvenile Data Report, a legislative update and a presentation of the 2018 JJSC work plan. The JJSC was formed to assist in fulfilling the statutory requirements in relation to a wide range of juvenile justice issues that fall within the purview of the BSCC. Key responsibilities of the JJSC include: data and performance outcomes; Juvenile Justice Realignment; Juvenile Facility Regulations (Title 15); and Juvenile justice grants monitoring & reporting tasks.
