New Cal OES Grants for Domestic Violence Survivor Programs

About $2 million of new grant funding is available for expanding comprehensive support services to domestic violence survivors and their children, including emergency shelter, court accompaniment, and advocacy.

The Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is soliciting proposals for the Domestic Violence Assistance Program for 2018-19. Approximately $2 million is available for the DH Program and applicants may apply for up to $500,000 of one-time funding for a 24-month grant performance period beginning January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2020.

The proposal package must be received or postmarked by Tuesday, October 9, 2018. More information and a copy of the RFP are available on the Cal OES website.
