Santa Clara County Joins the Results First Family

August 18, 2016

The Board of Supervisors in Santa Clara County voted unanimously this week to join the Pew-MacArthur Results First Initiative, which is designed to help governments use evidence-based best practices to improve processes.

Santa Clara County is eager to begin addressing their adult criminal justice programs. The efforts will be housed in the County Executive Office but all agencies in the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) and Board of Supervisors will be working together to lead a county effort.

CSAC’s Program Coordinator Amalia Mejia and Ben Fulton, Senior Associate at the Pew Charitable Trusts presented to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors on August 16, 2016. CSAC partnered with Pew-MacArthur Results First Initiative to expand to other counties. Santa Clara will be the first county to begin the second cohort in California.

The Pew-MacArthur Results First Initiative is a joint project of The Pew Charitable Trusts and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
