I: $54,499 – $66,532 Annually; II: $60,216 – $73,511 Annually

Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks an Administrative Analyst I/II. The individual assigned to the Probation Department will utilize data analysis and research techniques to evaluate adult, juvenile and juvenile hall services and programs to determine effectiveness and fidelity to evidence based practices, and assess new or proposed programs and services and assist in the development of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. The individual assigned to the Community Development Agency (CDA) will provide financial support for multiple CDA departments and programs. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, grant and contract management, budget development and monitoring, and routine fiscal duties such as A/P, A/R, and cash management.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include (I): a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience in administrative, budget or personnel analysis, preferably in a public agency.  Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of two years; (II): in addition to above, two years of experience at a level equivalent to Nevada County’s classification of Administrative Analyst I.
