Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks an Administrative Analyst I/II. The Administrative Analyst I/II will play a key role in the Information and General Services Office of Emergency Services (OES) overall operations and with the County’s high priority Wildfire Hazard Reduction program. Duties include: Execute day-to-day OES priorities; emergency operations center (EOC) volunteer coordination and training; community outreach, communications, and training; grant research, writing, and tracking; EOC preparedness; and update OES plans. May work on Agency projects as needed. e.g. Broadband, redevelopment, grants, budgets, technology, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include (I): Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience in administrative, budget or personnel analysis, preferably in a public agency. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of two years. (II): Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Nevada County’s classification of Administrative Analyst I.
