Salary:

$47,881.60 – $78,020.80 Annually

Description:

The position will work with Executive staff in developing the Organization’s budget; assist in preparation of the Departmental budget; plan, organize and perform budgetary statistical work and analyze data; assist in the preparation and evaluation of budget reports, including revenue and expense projections, salary projections, final reports, and other specialized financial reports and analyses.

This position is subject to a 3% salary increase effective October 7, 2018. This is an at-will position; exempt from Civil Service.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university, preferably with courses in public or business administration, accounting, management, statistics or other field related to the listed duties;

AND

Administrative Analyst I: One year of highly responsible technical/analytical experience equivalent to Mendocino County’s Department Analyst II, which was performed independently requiring the exercise of judgment.

Administrative Analyst II: Two years of analytical experience equivalent to Mendocino County’s Administrative Analyst I or Senior Department Analyst. One year of experience in a public agency is highly desired.

Senior Administrative Analyst: Two years of analytical experience involving policy and procedure development equivalent to Mendocino County’s Administrative Analyst II, including at least one year in a public agency. Supervisory or lead role experience is desired.

Substitution: Related experience may be substituted for the education at a rate of two years of experience to one year of education. A master’s or doctoral degree in public or business administration may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience.

Licenses and Certifications:
Valid State Driver’s License.
