The County of Sonoma Community Development Commission (CDC) seeks an experienced supervisor to join their team as the Affordable Housing Program Manager!

Reporting to the Assistant Executive Director, the Affordable Housing Program Manager is responsible for the Commission’s multi-family and single family homeownership financing programs. As a key member of the management team, the Affordable Housing Program Manager is instrumental in meeting the CDC’s mission and objectives for our community. Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess experience:

• Working with non-profit and for-profit developers and property owners to develop affordable housing
• Analyzing proposed development projects for feasibility and consistency with industry standards, and determining the appropriate funding level
• Coordinating and directing loan programs for first-time home-buyers
• Supervising staff, with the ability to connect with staff and be a proponent of staff development
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with County departments and officials, officials of incorporated cities within Sonoma County, and other agencies
