Salary:

$5,446.45 – $6,648.99 Per Month

Description:

Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs, oversees, coordinates, and performs the technical functions related to the establishment and maintenance of account and fiscal records including accounting, financial management, grants, purchasing and contracts administration, and information technology; budgetary and statistical evaluations and analysis; ensures fiscal integrity, fiscal control and accountability for all fiscal operations in the agency; direction of staff engaged in accounting, budgetary and statistical work; coordinates assigned activities among agency divisions, with other County departments and outside agencies; provides highly responsible and complex technical and administrative support to assigned agency department head and others in areas of expertise; performs related work as required.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business, public administration, accounting, or closely related field and three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative or supervisory experience in financial management, preferably in the public sector.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Possession of a California driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
