Salary:

$116,652- $148,896

Description:

Under the direction of the Air Pollution Control District Board of Directors, plan, organize and direct the day-to-day operations and activities of the Air Pollution Control District (APCD); direct programs and activities involved in the County-wide enforcement of federal, State and local air pollution control laws and regulations; coordinate and direct related inspections and investigations of emissions sources and related facilities, systems and equipment; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.

Qualifications:

Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in chemical or environmental engineering or related field and five (5) years increasingly responsible experience in the inspection and investigation of sources of air pollution including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
