Annual Salary Range: $109,344 – $143,700
plus comprehensive benefits package
This is an “at-will” position appointed by the City Manager. The individual must be an experienced professional who is a highly engaged and effective contributor; has previous work experience in local government and a passion for public service; has a strong, yet approachable leadership style with exceptional interpersonal skills in order to cultivate successful working relationships and establish trust and confidence in the work to which assigned; and must be a strong communicator in order to function as the City’s Public Information Officer.
Candidates must possess an equivalent to graduation from a four-year college with major course work in business or public administration or a closely related field and five years of professional experience in administrative, management, systems, operations, budgetary or similar analyses. Lead or supervisory experience and demonstrated program administrative responsibility are desirable.
