This full-service city has a 2014/15 total budget of $226.3M and 446 FTEs. The Assistant City Manager will serve as Chief Operating Officer and will support City Manager Troy Brown in taking the community and organization to the next level. The ideal candidate is a generalist manager who is detail oriented and strategically minded. Proven experience and understanding of local government, employee development, community engagement, and labor relations is required. Bachelor’s degree in public/business administration or a related field is required; Master’s preferred. Salary range is $148,580 – $180,603; appointment within range DOQ.
