$102,161 – $130,826 Annually DOQ

Description:

The County of Santa Clara is seeking an Assistant Clerk of the Board of Supervisors who will be responsible for assisting, planning and organizing the staff and activities of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors’ Office. This executive management position is responsible for assisting the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and overseeing the departments middle management positions; and in the absence or unavailability of the Clerk of the Board: reviews for accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal, state and local regulations all items submitted to the Board, attends the Agenda Review Committee meetings, oversees and is responsible for preparation of the agenda for the Board of Supervisors meetings, and also in the absence of the Clerk, serves as the Clerk at Board meetings.

Qualifications:

An Associate or higher level degree in business or public administration or a related field, and progressively responsible administrative/managerial experience.
