Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks an Assistant County Counsel to assist in planning, organizing and directing the activities of the County Counsel’s Office; provide expert professional legal advice and assistance to the Board of Supervisors and County management staff; and perform related work as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include equivalent to graduation from an accredited law school and five years of experience practicing civil or administrative law. Experience in land use, planning, labor, and employment law and/or contracts is highly desirable. Also requires active membership in the California State Bar.
