Description:This Assistant County Executive Officer opportunity, located in the heart of California’s preeminent wine country, will offer a rewarding position in a community that embraces best practices and good governance with an exceptional quality of life. With a $445 million FY 2012-2013 budget and approximately 1,331 staff, Napa County provides services to approximately 139,000 residents. Key functional areas of responsibility include managing the preparation and administration of the County’s annual budget, long-range fiscal planning, facilities planning, and oversight of assigned systems, functional areas, and divisions.
The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a multi-disciplinary track record of achievement and “big picture” strategic planning skills. Additionally, the Assistant County Executive Officer will have unquestionable personal integrity and display honesty and approachability in his/her commitment to work in an organization that continually strives for organizational excellence. Requires a Master’s Degree and nine years of progressively responsible management experience.
