Description:

The Community Services Agency of Stanislaus County is recruiting for the position of Assistant Director for Finance and Operations. This is an executive-level position, reports to the Director and is a member of the Department’s Senior Leadership Team. This position serves as the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Agency and is responsible for all facets of financial management including budgeting and financial analysis for all Department programs including Child Welfare, Adult Protective Services, In-Home Supportive Services, Medi-Cal, CalWORKs,CalFresh, Child Care, Refugee Services, etc.; In addition, the Assistant Director is responsible for oversight of Administrative functions including Information Systems, Telecommunications, Facility Management, Records Management, Purchasing, and Contract Administration.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework preferably in Public or Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.)
Experience:
• Possess at least four years recent, full time management experience in a California public social service agency OR
• Possess at least four years recent, full time experience in a management capacity in a large public or private organization.
