The County of Sonoma seeks a creative and talented executive manager to work closely with the Director of Human Services on program development and operations of the department.

Qualifications:

The Assistant Director of Human Services is responsible for assisting the Director in the development, operation, coordination, integration, and implementation of Human Services Department programs and functions. The Assistant Director’s tasks include coordinating, responding, analyzing, planning, organizing, and overseeing department-wide operations and services; participating on the Executive team; ensuring operational compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; seeking grant and other funding opportunities by promoting departmental and county initiatives; representing the Director in the County and community; and attending regional, state, and federal meetings.
