The County of Sonoma General Services Department seeks an experienced professional as their next Assistant Fleet Manager in the Fleet Operations Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the County of Sonoma’s Award Winning Fleet Management Team!

Starting Salary up to 103,917/Yr. Plus a Cash Allowance of $600/Mo.

The Assistant Fleet Manager coordinates, plans, organizes, supervises and manages programs for the acquisition, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and specification writing of the vehicles and equipment in the County’s fleet and outside contracted groups; and performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Qualifications for this position normally include academic course work in automotive or equipment maintenance, engineering, public administration, business administration, and related courses AND two years of supervisory experience in automotive and/or equipment maintenance, including experience with computerized maintenance systems.
