The County of Santa Cruz is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Assistant Planning Director.
Santa Cruz County has approximately 270,000 residents and is situated in the northern area of Monterey Bay, 70 miles south of San Francisco and 35 miles southwest of the Silicon Valley. Qualifications:

The Requirements:
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in planning, geography, engineering, public administration, or a related field.
AND

Five years of increasingly responsible professional planning experience including 2 years of supervisory responsibility.
