$106,475 – $129,417

Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess 6 years experience as a manager in governmental accounting and finance. The new Assistant Treasurer-Tax Collector will have a strong work ethic, a high level of personal integrity and trustworthiness and respect multiple perspectives. The individual will pursue operational efficiencies and sustained process changes, while bringing a level of enthusiasm that fosters excellence in staff at all levels. She/he is seeking a long-term commitment in order to become part of a forward-thinking team whose goal is to make a positive impact for the citizens of El Dorado County.

Qualifications:

Any combination of the required experience, education, and training that would provide the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a closely related field;

AND

Four (4) years of supervisory or management experience in accounting or the investing of public funds.

Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California Driver’s License by time of appointment and a satisfactory driving record.
