In this exciting position, you will play a key role in the areas of employee relations and salary administration, providing human resource direction to various departments on classification, compensation and disciplinary related items. Our highly collaborative personnel team has close to 40 FTE’s who provide human resource services to over 2,000 County of Santa Cruz employees!

Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable of the principles and practices of public personnel administration
• Able to provide alternative and creative solutions to complex human resource challenges
• A skilled people person who is customer service focused
