$50,772-68,598 Annually

Description:

Performs professional audits and appraisals for property tax purposes of business property, vessels, aircraft, and other assessable property. Works with taxpayers to resolve assessment issues and responds to taxpayer and public inquiries.

Qualifications:

Possession of a four year degree or four years of relevant experience as defined in Property tax rule 283. Passing of a County administered merit system accounting/auditing examination consistent with the requirements of Section 670(d) of the Revenue and Taxation Code. Applicants in possession of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) semester units in accounting or auditing, or licensure as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California may be substituted for passing the aforementioned examination.
