Salary:

$4102 – $4987/month, plus an excellent benefits package, including a CalPERS Retirement Benefit formula of 2.7% @ 55 for individuals identified as “classic members” pursuant to the provisions of California’s 2013 Pension Reform Act.

The incumbent will supervise, assign, coordinate, and review the work of staff in a specialized program in the Behavioral Health Services Department; provide counseling and rehabilitation services in various Mental Health programs; and make public presentations and provide information on behavioral health issues.

Qualifications:

The position requires:

• 4 years of experience providing behavioral health counseling services.
• MA/MS from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related field.
• Possession of a valid certification from an organization recognized by the CA Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, may be required.
• Possession of, or ability to maintain by date of appointment, a valid CA Class ‘C’ Driver’s License.
