$122,853 – $149,328 annually

Description:

This position is a second-level, at-will management class that reports directly to the Director of Health and Human Services. The incumbent exercises direct and indirect supervision over lower level management and supervisory staff. The selected candidate will oversee the programmatic functions of the Child, Youth & Family branch of the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency. This branch consists of several major programs, including Child Welfare Services (CWS), California Children’s Services (CCS), Child Health & Disability Prevention (CHDP), Child and Transitional Aged Youth Mental Health Services, and Home Visiting Services.

Qualifications:

Education: Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work or Marriage & Family Counseling; OR a Master’s degree in another subject area which meets the following criteria: a two year program from an accredited college or university which requires a minimum of 45 units, has a two-semester field placement dealing with marriage, family and child issues, is supervised by an LCSW or higher, and required social work caseload management and on-going counseling.

Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience managing the delivery of health, mental health, and/or social services programs in the public sector.
