$79,354.91-$96,456.67 Annually

Description:

The current vacancy is assigned to work in the Auburn area with primary responsibility for planning, prioritizing, leading and reviewing the work of staff. Duties also include training and providing functional technical support for plan review and inspection staff. In addition, this position will engage in residential and commercial building plan reviews and inspections in order to ensure proper accountability and key functions are met.

Qualifications:

Experience: Two years of responsible journey level experience performing duties similar to those of a Building Inspector II in Placer County.

Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in building codes, construction technology or a related field is desirable.

License or Certificate:
•Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration as an Inspector issued by the International Code Council.
•May need to possess a valid driver’s license as required by the position.
