Salary:

$36,254.40 – $48,588.80 Annually

Description:

This class works under general supervision and performs a variety of progressively skilled and responsible work in the operation and maintenance of buildings, equipment and grounds. Work is performed at a journey level and incumbents in this class are expected to possess considerable knowledge specific to job assignment within the scope of the class.

Qualifications:

Education
High school diploma or GED; a basic knowledge of materials, tools, and safety practices, and the ability to learn related job functions in order to perform a variety of related tasks under general supervision at a journey level.

Experience
Building Maintenance Mechanic II: In addition to the above education requirements, requires two to four years of progressively responsible related experience.

Building Maintenance Mechanic III: In additional to the above education requirements, requires four to six years of progressively responsible related experience.

OR, a combination of related education and/or experience that would demonstrate possession of the knowledge and ability to perform a variety of related tasks, under general supervision.
