The Resource Management Agency, Building Services Department is currently seeking an individual with excellent managerial, organizational and interpersonal skills to fill their Building Services Manager position. The Building Services Manager has overall responsibility for the work accomplished within an assigned functional team and guides the work of assigned staff to ensure the team works within established Department policies and in accordance with the Department’s interpretation of applicable codes, ordinances, laws, regulations, guidelines, policies and directives.
The Eligible List established from this recruitment will be used to fill the current vacancy, which has responsibility to oversee the Department’s code enforcement team and operations. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, diplomatic and have the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, architecture or structural, mechanical or civil engineering or a closely related field; or planning, geography or a closely related discipline; and
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience managing a code enforcement, inspection or building permit and issuance program, of which one (1) year was in a supervisory capacity.
