Salary:

$4885 – $5938/monthly, including an excellent benefits and retirement package (CalPERS Retirement Benefit formula of 2.7% @ 55 for individuals identified as “classic members” pursuant to the provisions of California’s 2013 Pension Reform Act).

The Chief Assistant County Clerk-Recorder is under direction of the County Clerk-Recorder, and assists with the planning, directing, managing, and overseeing of the functions, operations, and programs of the County Clerk-Recorder’s Office

Qualifications:

Five (5) years of experience in performing complex duties related to the functions of a County’s Clerk, Recorder or Elections Office, including at least two (2) years of direct supervisory or management experience; or Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience directly working with the following: Legal Processes, Procedures and Terminology; Code Interpretation and Enforcement; Contract Development and/or Monitoring; Fiscal Control and/or Monitoring, which included at least two (2) years of direct supervisory or management experience; and 12th grade or equivalent.
