Description:

The County of San Diego is seeking a dynamic, independent, and innovative leader to fill a Chief, Departmental Operations position in Planning & Development Services (PDS), which is part of the County’s Land Use & Environment Group. Under the administrative direction of PDS executive management, this unclassified management position will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight over all functions and activities of the Support Services division.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in public administration, business administration, finance, or a related field, and at least five years of professional level budget and fiscal experience. The ideal candidate will also have at least two years of full supervisory or management level experience overseeing a budget and fiscal unit or division.
