$108,586 – $133,849

Description:

The County of Santa Barbara is seeking an individual with demonstrated professional experience in administrative and procedural support for a Board of Supervisors, Hearing Boards, and special districts that is articulate and has knowledge of the principles and practices of municipal government administration, and the legal and administrative procedures relating to municipal records management and retention to serve in the role of Chief Deputy Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Law or a closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university AND Five (5) of progressively responsible clerical and administrative experience in a Clerk’s Office of a governing, advisory, or quasi-judicial board/council office, including at least two (2) years in a Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Office; Or

2. Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
