Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have substantial relevant experience and the proven ability to execute a large capital improvement plan. This collaborative and results-oriented leader will have outstanding communication, interpersonal and consensus building skills and be able to work cooperatively with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internal and external to the Park District. Experience working with parks-related capital projects is desirable; governmental experience is essential. A Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of relevant experience, two years at the middle management level required; possession of a valid professional license in landscape architecture, architecture, or engineering from the State of California within the first year of employment also required.
