$96,232 – $142,900

Description:

The Fire Department is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to manage and supervise the planning, coordination, reviewing and evaluation of financial and administrative program activities, oversee the development of the department budget and balance fiscal priorities among divisions, projects and programs.

Qualifications:

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public Administration or related field (Master’s Degree preferred); and
2. Five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in accounting or finance which included overseeing subordinate staff; or,
3. A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities; and

Candidates must complete a comprehensive background investigation. Appointee will be subject to a post-offer medical evaluation.
