Salary: $71,489.60 – $87,256.00 annually

Description:

The Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the Fiscal and Accounting functions of the Agency. Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Administrative Services, the CFO will oversee 14 FTE’s responsible for benefit and welfare claiming activities and benefit payment issuances. Part of a dynamic leadership team, this will be an opportunity for the selected candidate to help improve processes and the delivery of services County-wide.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university with a degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration or closely related field. A Master’s degree in the above mentioned fields and/or a CPA license may substitute up to one (1) year of experience.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a Fiscal Analyst II or Accountant with Kings County Human Services Agency or equivalent OR Four (4) years of complex professional level experience performing management, budget, finance, and accounting work in a human/social services agency preferred.
Desirable: One (1) year of highly responsible lead or supervisory experience in a social services fiscal or accounting office.
