Salary:

$120,829.02 – $155,012.78 Annually, (DOQ) *

Description:

The Chief Fiscal Officer of the Social Services Agency is responsible is responsible for planning, directing and managing budget preparation, fiscal operations, contracts administration, Research and Statistics operations. for This is an executive management position that provides administrative direction to the Collections, Fiscal, and Budget Divisions. This position also functions as the principal liaison between the Social Services Agency and the County Finance Agency, and the County Office of Budget and Analysis. 

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate would typically acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this function are typically acquired through graduation from a four-year college with major work in accounting, business administration or a closely related field and five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in accounting or auditing work, at least one year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity; welfare finance experience is highly desirable.

*The current Annual Salary of $120,829.02 – $155,012.78 is currently being updated through the legislative process.  The new Annual Salary of  $142,062.96 – $182,254.02 will be effective on February 16, 2015.
