The County of Fresno is offering a rewarding and challenging career opportunity for an experienced, innovative, and dynamic leader to serve as the Chief Probation Officer. The Chief Probation Officer, in consultation with the Superior Court and the Board of Supervisors and working through subordinate managers and supervisors, formulates, implements, and evaluates all Probation Department functions, activities, policies and procedures, goals and objectives, budget and finances, and staff. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for interpreting applicable and appropriate laws, ordinances, regulations, and rules.
