$106,978 – $174,812 Annually

Description:

The County of Colusa is recruiting for a Chief Probation Officer to supervise, plan, and coordinate the activities and operations of the Probation Office including adult and juvenile probation; and to provide highly responsible technical staff assistance in the areas of probation and criminal justice.

Qualifications:

The following requirements generally demonstrate possession of the minimum requisite knowledge and ability necessary to perform the duties of the position.
• Four (4) years of professional probation experience including some supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with major work in social welfare, probation, corrections, behavioral sciences, law, or public management.
• Certificate of completion of course prescribed by P.O.S.T. pursuant to Section 832 of the California Penal Code.
• A valid State of California driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
