Salary:

$35.62-$43.07 Hourly, plus benefits

Description:

The Chief Probation Officer plans, organizes, directs and reviews the activities and operations of the Probation Department including adult probation, work furlough, and juvenile hall; coordinates assigned activites with other departments and outside agencies,and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the County Administrative Officer. 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accedited college or university with major course work in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: Five year’s of increasingly responsible experience in adult and juvenile probation,including two years of sigificant administrative managerial experience. License: Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
