Description:

The County of Riverside is recruiting for a highly experienced professional to manage the Code Enforcement Department as the County’s next Code Enforcement Official. The Code Enforcement Official is appointed by, and serves at the pleasure of, the Transportation and Land Management Agency Director and is responsible for a comprehensive Code Enforcement program in accordance with State law and the policies, regulations, codes, and ordinances of the County of Riverside. The Department operates with an annual operating budget of $12 million and 71 full-time staff. The annual salary range is $123,672 to $194,426.

Qualifications:

This position requires; a Bachelor’s degree; 5 years of experience in a department or public agency dealing with code enforcement, community improvement, economic development, land use, zoning, building, public safety, or public administration; and 3 years of responsible management, supervisory, or administrative experience.
