Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness is seeking a Contracts Manager who has extensive contracting experience and judgement to provide contract development and performance management, and contractor relationship support. What we look for in “A” team players:

Qualifications:

Employment Standards:
• Ideally, 4 years of experience with contract drafting and management, and 2 years of management type experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, health, public administration or related field; law degree highly desirable
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to appropriately assess and address compliance issues
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines
• Successful oversight of the work of others
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating a personal computer and all MS Office products
• Possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License is required upon appointment
