$193,196 – $235,845; DOE

Description:

The Kern County Board of Supervisors is seeking a County Administrative Officer (CAO) with the vision and dynamic leadership to move Kern County government forward to meet future challenges. The CAO manages several functional divisions including: Budget & Finance, Policy & Legislative Affairs, Compliance & Accountability, Human Resources, General Services & Information Technology Services, Economic & Workforce Development, and Compliance with Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience in private or public employment in a responsible administrative or executive position requiring the planning and execution of work programs or administrative operations, the budgeting of expenditures, and coordination of varied activities. A Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
