Description:

Siskiyou County is seeking an experienced administrator/executive to provide leadership, direction and focus to the Board of Supervisors and Department Heads of Siskiyou County. The mission of the County Administrator is to guide the organization in implementing Board policy while improving the effective operation and fiscal integrity of the County. The County Administrative Office is responsible for: Budget, County Administration, Personnel/Labor Relations/Risk Management and Purchasing. The County’s budget is approx $130 million w/ approx 600 FTEs. 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a BS/BA Degree in public/or business administration or related field from an accredited college or university; 7 years of increasingly responsible management experience in a public administration position, with at least 3 years of which must be in a high-level administrative or executive capacity, preferably within the State of California.
