County Clerk / Recorder / Registrar

Beginning Salary: $7,700 – $8,500/month DOQ
The County of Mono is seeking an experienced and innovative professional to become the County Clerk/ Recorder/ Registrar with emphasis on overall management skills.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager, strategic and innovative leader who will demonstrate clear understanding of the issues, legal mandates, and public concerns regarding the above functions. The position reports to the County Administrative Officer.

Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience working in a county clerk, recorder, registrar of voters, and/or clerk to the Board of Supervisors office, with responsibility for overseeing a major program area directly related to these functions. Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in business administration, public administration, government or political science highly desirable.
