$2,776.64 to $3,375.01 DOE paid Biweekly

Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: To assist the Community Development Director in planning, coordination and administration of the Engineering/Surveying Division. Has responsible charge for County engineering functions including approval of construction improvement drawings and Public Works facilities. Supervises and reviews construction inspections of Public Works contracts including preparations of change orders, project record keeping, processing progress payments and coordinating grants and permits. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: A valid California Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one at the time of hire. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Possession of Certification as a Civil Engineer by the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. Authorization to practice land surveying in California is highly desirable. Five years responsible professional civil engineering experiencing including experience in a supervisory capacity.
